Carefoot's Fleet of Haulage Vehicles
 At
present, we have an operations licence for 47 vehicles. Our fleet
of vehicles are all modern, late registration tractor units and
trailers are maintained to exceptionally high standards by both
the vehicle manufacturers and our own mechanics.
Chosen by Carefoot to give the best performance, economy and drivability,
our engines are refined to reduce noise, vibration and pollution
to limit their environmental impact, whilst offering the best in
terms of performance and economy. The engines are designed for long
service intervals resulting in less oil usage and reduction of parts
usage.
 Being
concerned environmentalists, Carefoot Plc always ensure their vehicles
are as environmentally friendly as possible. Carefoot purchase biodegradable
diesel whenever possible and the fleet run on low noise / low energy
Michelin tyres. The fleet also incorporates an ergonomic gas re-circulation
system (EGRS) to maintain optimum efficiency with minimum waste.
The braking systems are fitted with airbrake silencer systems to
reduce noise pollution, and similarly the reversing signal automatically
switches off when the vehicle lights are switched on, thus reducing
noise at night.
We recognise that a high level of presentation and image is essential
to both ourselves and our clients. Due to this we ensure that all
our vehicles are kept in pristine condition, with regular washing
and refinishing work carried out whenever necessary.
